I’ve always had a love of antiques and their history but my love for old hardware came about when I worked for an architectural salvage store. I was intrigued by the glass door knobs and the stamped brass door plates. I fell in love with the old hardware, the craftsmanship and the detail just won me over. I started finding old hardware at yard sales and auctions that were in disrepair and started buying and repairing it. Cleaning cast iron steeple hinges to see the beautiful design under the 8 coats of paint. I love to take a mortise or box lock apart and clean it and put it back into proper working order. So my interest in old hardware has led to this store. I do have other antique items besides hardware but I mostly deal in antique hardware. I love to help people find a missing piece to their hardware set or find that special door knob that matches the rest of the knobs in their house. I am restoring and selling pieces of the past for people to love and use in their restoration projects. So what can I help you find today?
